The Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, a professional orchestra founded in 1997, seeks to preserve and perpetuate great traditions of chamber music. The Orchestra performs statewide 7-9 concerts/year of traditional and contemporary classical chamber works showcasing the excellence of regional and young talent. The Orchestra presents "Meet the Artist" lectures, Children's Concert series, and Paderewski Concerto Competition, as well as fully staged operas in collaboration with Connecticut Lyric Opera, New London. New Britain concerts and operas are at Trinity-On-Main. CDs of past performances are also available.
