Trinity-On-Main
is the cultural center for arts, education and community events serving
the population of the
Central Connecticut Region. Trinity-On-Main is housed in a 115 year old former
United Methodist Church designed by architect Amos Cutting. Trinity-On-Main
began its fight to save and buy the building from
the Methodist congregation in 2002. In May of 2004 Trinity-On-Main, Ltd bought
the building and in August of the same year became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Trinity-On-Main is both a producer of events and a presenting organization. Rentals
are also a growing portion of the business. Trinity-On-Main is on the State Historic
Register and because of the building’s natural beauty, superior acoustics
and unique architecture is becoming a destination place in downtown New Britain. |
