Britain Chorale

Singers
from different faiths and churches from throughout Connecticut, accompanied
by the CT Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, offer an annual free concert, with soloists.
Over 30 years of great concert pieces and no auditions. Under the direction
of Adrian Mackiewicz, Artistic Director, with Pawel Jura as Choirmaster,
the Chorale
joins with church choirs for smaller, joint concerts with little instrumentation.
Rehearsals are 2:00 to 4:30 pm on Sundays. The Chorale’s season begins
in early January with an annual concert in late March or April. The Chorale
performs major works of sacred music, but also performs less serious music
for smaller
concerts. |
