| Theatre Newington-OnStage originated in 1962, as an initiative by a small group of individuals who sought to form a community theatre for the town of Newington. Thus began a tradition of providing family entertainment in the form of comedies, mysteries, dramas, and musicals. Since its founding, the group has performed over 100 different plays, which are now being presented in the Scottish Rite Temple Auditorium, a beautiful venue located on Deming Street in Newington. | P.
